ABOUT PAVONE LINGERIE

The face behind Pavone Lingerie is that of Janneke Schellekens. Janneke has lived in several places in Europe and South America, and it was in Italy in particular that her passion for fashion was ignited.
A few years ago Janneke started at the fashion academy in Amsterdam and then set up her business. Janneke has since graduated as a Fashion Designer and is working hard to put her sustainable brand Pavone on the map. She is immensely proud that everything that is her passion is reflected in Pavone Lingerie.

Pavone is the Italian name for peacock; the peacock stands for pride, beauty, elegance and strength. As a designer, Janneke is critical and strives for perfection. She now works with a team of passionate professionals, challenging each other every day to strive for the maximum possible.

In 2019 Janneke launched her first collection for women, this collection has since expanded and is going all over the world. From her search for well-fitting underwear related to her complaints, Janneke decided to develop underwear specifically for women with chronic vulvar skin conditions. She now works closely with Foundations, clinics and specialists in the fields of pelvic care, gynecology, urology and dermatology.

Janneke continues to work to expand and improve her products and collections. In the ideal world, Janneke wishes that taboos such as urinary leakage, Lichen Sclerosus, vulvar Lichen Planus, vulvodynia and vulvar cancer will be broken.
